Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Remote – EST time
Duration: 1-year contract
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally within digital health, SaaS, or complex platform ecosystems.
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design process, cross-platform design, and experience solving complex problems. We would like to see how you select design activities that are appropriate for the problems you’re trying to solve.
- Proficiency in Figma / FigJam
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think strategically about user experience and system-level design.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills – able to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for improving health outcomes and creating meaningful digital experiences that empower people.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for healthcare, telehealth, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with service design, journey mapping, and systems thinking.
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/React knowledge is a plus).
- Experience planning and executing research activities such as concept testing and usability testing.
- Exposure to data-driven design or behaviour change frameworks.
