Senior Account Executive / IT Business Development Manager

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a boutique, high-performing talent solutions firm specializing in IT staffing, technical recruitment, and professional services across North America. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Senior Account Executive to help expand their footprint, build long-term client partnerships, and deliver value across multiple hiring domains not limited to IT.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, target, and secure new client relationships across mid-market and enterprise organizations
  • Drive outbound business development through cold outreach, warm introductions, networking, and strategic prospecting
  • Promote and sell multi-disciplinary staffing solutions, including:
  • IT & Technology roles
  • Professional & Corporate roles (Operations, HR, Finance, Admin, etc.)
  • Contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements
  • Conduct client needs assessments and design customized hiring and workforce plans
  • Collaborate closely with internal recruiting and delivery teams to ensure consistent quality and successful placements
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking progress, forecasting revenue, and reporting activity using CRM systems
  • Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and virtual presentations to strengthen brand visibility and relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of Business Development or Account Executive experience in staffing (IT or multi-disciplinary)
  • Proven track record of:
  • Opening new accounts
  • Growing revenue
  • Managing long-term client partnerships
  • Understanding of the full staffing sales cycle, hiring processes, and the technical recruitment landscape
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, boutique firm environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with recruiting teams
