Senior Project Manager – FRTB

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager – FRTB for a 11 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Senior Project Manager – FRTB – Job Description:

This project involves managing the delivery of large-scale initiatives related to the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) with a focus on FX Delta and FX Risk management. The Senior Project Manager will be part of a core central Program Management Team responsible for ensuring timely execution of deliverables and providing subject matter expertise in Markets products.

Senior Project Manager – FRTB – Responsibilities:

• Drive transformation and change management initiatives within Capital Markets.

• Manage project phases, including analysis, requirements gathering, design, and testing.

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships across Global Markets stakeholders.

• Ensure target state tools, processes, and controls are approved by governance forums.

• Manage dependencies and engage with Risk Managers, Product Owners, and Technology teams.

• Identify and resolve project risks and issues, escalating when necessary.

• Produce project update materials for various forums and committees.

Senior Project Manager – FRTB – Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with FRTB, specifically around FX Delta and FX Risk management.

• Strong track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions.

• Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to drive change across a global organization.

• Demonstrated analytical skills with problem-solving capability.

• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience.

Senior Project Manager – FRTB – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory related projects/programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, Master’s degree preferred.

• Project Management certifications such as PMP.

• Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL and Excel.

• Thought leadership in target state design.
