Description: Reporting to the Human Resources Director based in the Toronto office, the incumbent acts as a general business partner and provides direction and support to managers and employees in human resources management. Dealing with multiple deadlines and changing demands/priorities in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia. Advise managers on performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and development plans. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding, for positions in the designated regions. Coordinate onboarding activities and provide orientation for new hires. Maintain and update HR systems, including HRIS, Employee Portal, and employee records. Ensure compliance with employment standards, CNESST/Pay Equity, AODA, and IRCC regulations. Participate in HR projects, such as data analysis, compliance tracking, and organizational chart maintenance. Contribute to a positive, supportive, and client-focused team environment. Translate documents, announcements, job postings, and other correspondence as needed. Position Requirements: University degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 3 years’ related experience working in a Human Resources capacity. Experience supporting managers and staff in multiple HR areas such as recruitment, onboarding/orientation, training, job evaluation and employee relations is strongly preferred. Fluent and good command of English and French (oral and written); Control of the pay equity process and CNESST (Maintenance) Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment. Good judgment and initiative. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide excellent service to the community and deal courteously and effectively with people at all levels. Knowledge of relevant legislation (i.e. Employment Standards Act, Act respecting labour standards (Quebec), BC Employment Standards Act, Standard Human Rights Code, and AODA Good knowledge of MS Office software, Ceridian Dayforce, Intranet and HRIS savvy.
