Job Description:

We are looking for a certified Epic Claims Analyst (PB/HB) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support clients in optimizing claim workflows, reducing denials, and ensuring timely and accurate billing operations across Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB) modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve claim edits, rejections, and billing discrepancies for client sites.
  • Configure and test claim rules, error pools, and workqueue logic within Epic PB/HB.
  • Collaborate with client revenue cycle and IT teams to streamline claim submission and follow-up processes.
  • Support production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend system or process improvements.
  • Participate in upgrades, regression testing, and deployment of new Epic functionalities.
  • Deliver insights and reporting on claim trends, denial patterns, and financial impact.

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) claims and/or Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) claims certification – mandatory.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Epic claims or billing operations in a consulting or support environment.
  • In-depth understanding of claim formats (UB-04, CMS-1500), payer edits, and clearinghouse workflows.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and documentation abilities.
