Job description and responsibilities
As a Founding Sales Lead, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founding team to scale sales, drive growth, and expand market presence, building on our early adopter success with a proven value proposition and business model.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract closure, leveraging tools such as Linkedin, phone, email, conferences, and social media to source outbound leads and find prospective new clients.
- Position the value of Zentrela’s neurotechnology to health and wellness consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies that meet our ideal customer profile.
- Build a pipeline of mostly self-sourced leads and some inbound to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers.
- Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and visitation for the future.
- Become a trusted advisor for product development teams in finding new innovative ways of product efficacy research, and help position these insights to maximize product success.
- Onboard, train, and lead new sales team members.

Compensation:
- CAD $80K – $110K base salary based on experience and qualifications.

Travel: Availability to travel to the US, Canada, and Europe.
Minimum Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
The ideal Account Executive has 3 to 5 years in consistently over-achieving their sales targets in a B2B environment and meets the following criteria:
- A strong drive and ambition to further cultivate a successful and profitable B2B sales career.
- You have experience in onboarding and training sales personnel or a strong desire
- Experience managing enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience thriving in an early-stage, fast-moving startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and explain technical and scientific concepts to directors or executives with technical background.
- Desirable: experience in enterprise sales in the wellness or health CPG market.
