Description
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the ERP and Business Systems team by coordinating and executing project tasks across various stages of prioritized Tech and ERP initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and project teams to ensure goals are achieved in alignment with company objectives, maintaining consistency in standards and facilitating clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project initiation by gathering requirements, defining scope, and coordinating initial planning activities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules aligned with overall objectives and milestones.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to support functional and technical deliverables, manage expectations, and track progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and external vendors, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project risks and issues, document them, and assist in developing mitigation plans.
- Participate in change management activities, including coordinating training sessions and preparing change-related materials.
- Maintain effective communication across project teams, report on status, and escalate issues as needed.
- Support post-implementation activities by gathering feedback and recommending improvements.
- Contribute to project documentation, decision tracking, and ensure compliance with ERP and Tech standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15 years of Project Management experience.
- 10+ years of SAP experience.
- 5+ years of retail industry experience.
- PMP, SAP Activate, or Scrum certification; experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, project phases, and lifecycle within a business environment.
- Highly organized with excellent prioritization and time management skills in fast-paced settings.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive problem-solving and initiative-taking mindset.
- Adaptable and able to balance independent work with team collaboration.
- Continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency with PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Power BI
