WSP’s RPM team in Edmonton or Calgary seeks a Senior Technical Advisor focusing on Upstream Oil and Gas sites within our Remediation Program Management team. The role involves developing and implementing innovative closure plans for contaminated sites, leading technical work, and mentoring junior staff.<br/><br/>Your Impact<br/><br/>Develop plans to progress Upstream Oil and Gas sites to closure or create risk management plans.<br/><br/>Review reports prepared by others.<br/><br/>Engage with stakeholders, including regulators.<br/><br/>Foster development of new and emerging innovations to maintain leadership in site closure.<br/><br/>Mentor junior staff in environmental site assessment, remediation, and closure activities.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Post‑secondary degree in Environmental Sciences or related field.<br/><br/>Minimum of 20 years experience in environmental consulting, specializing in Upstream Oil and Gas.<br/><br/>Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety‑conscious attitude.<br/><br/>Strong interpersonal communication skills with a desire to work in a collaborative team.<br/><br/>Professional registration.<br/><br/>Subsoil Salinity Tool Certification.<br/><br/>Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $132,700 – $175,800
MB & ON: $121,100 – $166,700
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $119,900 – $159,200
