The Role:

As an Territory sales representative, you will be accountable for sales performance in the territory and contribution to the overall success of the Sales department. Focused on delivering top-notch customer service, through implementation of sales programs and initiatives to establish and grow Greentone brands within the territory. Education will be paramount, ensuring customers are excited and engaged, while driving flawless execution of our retail strategy. The ideal candidate will be engaged, collaborative, and highly motivated.

This position is based out of the North Greater Toronto Area.

Job Description:

  • Identify new distribution opportunities and partnerships that will maximize volume and share.
  • Manage all accounts within the assigned territory and establish Greentone brands as a first-choice partner.
  • Work within the assigned territorial budget
  • Execute on marketing initiatives and leverage them into future sales.
  • Activate regional trade shows and in-store events.
  • Lead education sessions with accounts, linking features to benefits, creating consistent messaging across the product portfolio.
  • Grow brand awareness and engagement within the territory.
  • Efficiently manage the territory, maintain customer information, and maintain focus on targets that align with sales goals.
  • Participate in weekly Sales team conference calls, providing updates on KPI’s, competitive insights, and regional market feedback.
  • Consistently achieve KPI targets by increasing distribution, enhancing brand visibility in-store, growing volume and share within the territory, and efficient route planning to supporting call frequency/quality expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Three to Five years’ experience in the CPG Sales, with preference given to highly regulated industries.
  • Previous experience working in cannabis industry in British Columbia considered an asset.
  • University degree an asset, but not required.
  • Highly effective communication and analytical skills
  • Collaborative attitude with excellent people skills and a proven track record of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • A problem-solver, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is capable of managing several priorities at once.

  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
