About the Role
As a Business Development and Events Specialist, you’ll lead the coordination and delivery of events and regional business development initiatives. This role bridges creative planning with strategic execution—supporting visibility, engagement, and growth efforts across the region.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and execute professional events—seminars, conferences, sponsorships, and receptions—that align with business development goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to design engaging, strategic experiences.
- Oversee event logistics, from venue and vendor coordination to communications and post-event analysis.
- Support regional business development planning and campaigns in partnership with leadership.
- Assist with marketing collateral, client team support, and sector-focused outreach.
- Track results, manage budgets, and contribute to national strategies.
What You Bring
- A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, or event management.
- 5+ years of experience in event planning or business development—ideally in a professional services or B2B environment.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational abilities.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for client engagement and professional excellence.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
