As a Project Manager Team Lead, you will be a pivotal figure in driving the success of EV and solar projects, including ensuring the effective deployment of AC/DC charging stations, and fostering growth within the green energy sector.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager Team Lead to oversee the installation of EV and solar solutions. This role will involve managing and overseeing the full lifecycle of installations—from sales leads and project initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either EV, power electronics, or green energy products, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams, streamline processes, and ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. You will play a critical role in the sales process by developing partnership opportunities with potential customers and driving business growth, while mentoring and guiding a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Create and manage a detailed roadmap for EV and solar installations, ensuring that processes, timelines, and sales forecasting align with organizational goals.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement processes, timelines, and completion milestones for each customer’s installation, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Grants: Assist with identifying grants for EV/solar energy, as well as completing and submitting applications for grant funding in a timely manner.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and R&D teams to refine installation processes and vet requirements for each project.
  • Team Leadership & Oversight: Provide direct oversight and guidance to the Project Manager, Installations. Assign projects, monitor budgets, and ensure that all installations meet the expected timeline and quality standards.
  • Process Optimization: Identify process gaps and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in installations.
  • Customer & Site Engagement: Travel to customer sites to assess proposed projects, ensuring proper planning and execution from start to finish.

 

 Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in a related field of study.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing projects in the EV, power electronics, or green energy products sectors is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, provide clear direction, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee complex projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to identify gaps and offer creative, practical solutions to problems.
  • Process Development: Experience in developing new processes, procedures, and best practices within the installation and project management space.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Motivation & Initiative: Self-starter with a strong drive to achieve goals, continuously learn, and grow within the organization.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Annual salary: Starting at $70,000
