Safety Engineer – Montreal Metro Blue Line Extension We are seeking a Safety Engineer to support a metro project by ensuring compliance with industry standards, conducting safety analyses based on required codes, and verifying technical documentation. The role involves close collaboration with another safety engineer and with other engineering teams, risk assessment, and ensuring system safety and reliability throughout the project lifecycle. Safety Analysis Conduct and provide Safety Analysis and reports notably for tunnels, metro stations, track and traction system safety reports based on Canadian and US codes notably NFPA 130, NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NFPA 70, … Develop safety requirements and criteria for test and commissioning phases, Develop and maintain Hazard Logs and support risk mitigation strategies, Develop and maintain hazards associated with test and commissioning phases, Conduct hazard identification (HAZID), Interface Hazard Analysis (IHA), conduct and verify Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), FMECA and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
