We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing construction company. This role is essential to maintaining the company’s cash flow by managing customer relationships, overseeing invoicing, ensuring timely payments, and handling collections activities. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and an understanding of the unique challenges within the construction industry.Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to ensure accuracy.Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain timely payment cycles.Foster excellent customer relationships by addressing billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies swiftly.Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and accountants, to ensure all documentation aligns with contract expectations.Develop and execute collection strategies to reduce DSO Contact customers regarding overdue invoices, document all communication, and escalate unresolved issues as needed.Analyze and report on delinquent accounts, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions.Work with project managers to confirm payment terms align with contract terms and project progress Prepare regular accounts receivable and collections dashboards for leadership review.3+ years of accounts receivable experience, including collections, ideally within the construction industry.Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.Familiarity with construction billing practices, contracts, and lien laws is highly desirable.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
