As a Territory Sales Representative at SRP Canada, you'll be responsible for in-store execution, distribution, and merchandising of our products across your assigned region. This is a hands-on role that involves significant physical activity, daily travel, and direct interaction with store-level operations, particularly in gas stations, convenience stores, and similar retail environments.Location: Kamloops, British Columbia, CanadaSalary: CAD 50K – CAD 70KDuties/Responsibilities:Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territoryIdentify local business opportunities and challengesServe accounts per schedule or as required to maximize business potentialDistribute, stock, and merchandise SRP products at customer locations—including setting up displays and managing inventoryVisit customers in assigned territory and conduct regular in-store audits, including SKU counts and visual merchandising checksMonitor market trends and gather competitor intel during store visitsConduct in-store audits with key business personnelOccasionally, participate in key trade shows and conferences and ensure SRP is viewed as innovative and a market leaderProvide feedback on product performance and share insights from the field with internal teamsExperience/QualificationsProven sales experience in the chain and independent Gas, Convenience, Drug, Grocery and Mass Merchant Store channels, covering a designated territory, making in-person sales callsExperience in direct to store distribution (DSD) is strongly desired and B2B sales experience in other channels is an assetHigh school diploma and/or college diploma in Sales, Business, Commerce, Marketing or other relevant fieldWillingness to travel extensively within the territory (including long-distance day trips)Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including regular lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 50 lbs.), bending, standing and stocking shelves for extended periods, especially for the distribution of merchandise and stocking the SRP productsMust have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, with the ability to be bonded, for the ability to drive company van to client locations for product distribution, stocking and merchandisingStrong written and verbal communication skills is a mustSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiativeExcellent time-management and planning skillsJoin us, and let’s deliver data-driven retail solutions.SRP’s mission is to exceed expectations through passion, performance and profitability.
