In-situ and Ex-situ Remediation, Soil Stabilization and Reengineering, Brownfield Site Management, Underground Tank and Ancillary Piping Removal
Concrete Recycling, Aggregate Crushing and Screening – Complete Interior/Exterior Demolition and Abatement, Asset and Salvage Recovery
Heavy Civil:
Sewer (Storm and Sanitary Connection/Installation), Watermain, and Roadworks – Including Asphalt, Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk)
This position is responsible for strategizing and negotiating to get cost effective deals from suppliers. Procurement coordinators will coordinate and maintain daily tasks of the procurement process including inventory management and subcontractor and supplier management. The hours of work will range from 40 to 50 hours (9 am–5 pm) per week, depending on varying contracts and timelines— overtime, weekends and/or evenings may be required.
Procurement Coordinators at MGI will come across and engage with tasks such as:
Maintaining and following procurement processes, budgets and timelines
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Following purchasing procedures and guidelines to ensure all orders stay within budgets and timelines
Maintain product quality while reducing company procurement costs
Properly documenting the procurement process as well as organizing and maintaining those documents
Gather, organize and analyze data related to procurement process; communicating data finding to procurement manager
Anticipate and mitigate risks within the procurement process
