<p><b>Direct Client</b></p><p><b>Location: Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid 3 days)</b></p><p><b>Role: Cloud computing Developer</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Primary responsibilities:</b></p><p>• Hands-on development and design of Python applications</p><p>• Enhance and integrate the CSP automation framework with in-house tooling (Azure initially)</p><p>• Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines</p><p>• Improve MS developer experience by collaborating with client & infrastructure teams</p><p>• Interface with a global team of application developers and infrastructure engineers</p><p>• Produce proof of concepts in new areas of development</p><p>• Investigate production issues</p><p>• Provide technical support for debugging application failures in production systems</p><p>• Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment)</p><p><br></p><p><b>Required Skills:</b></p><p>• 6-8+ years of hands-on professional development experience</p><p>• Experience with Python, Golang, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript</p><p>• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development</p><p>• Proficient with DB technologies (preferably NoSQL) including modelling, testing and tuning</p><p>• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments</p><p>• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin, GoDog, behave, etc.)</p><p>• Competency with version control systems (git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)</p><p>• Good understanding of Agile & DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Rally)</p><p>• Ability to write reusable, optimized and maintainable code that is well documented and follows industry standard best practices</p><p>• Excellent communication and presentation skills in a clear and concise manner across different stakeholder groups and knowledge levels</p><p><br></p><p><b>Nice to have:</b></p><p>• Experience with globally dispersed teams that fall across different time zones</p><p>• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)</p><p>• Experience with OPA</p><p>• Experience designing GCP/Azure/AWS applications</p><p>• Knowledge of security controls and/or security tooling for the Public cloud</p>
