Expretio Technologies is an innovative company focused on pricing optimization and transport intelligence. For over two decades, Expretio has been dedicated to developing advanced AI models and software solutions to support transport operators in increasing revenues while offering competitive services to passengers. Our solutions are tailored for the transport industry and are used by rail and bus operators worldwide.
We are seeking a General Manager to lead Expretio into its next phase of success. Supported by the Modaxo model, the General Manager will build strong customer and partner relationships, understand and anticipate customer needs, and have a deep knowledge of the competitive environment to differentiate the company. The role requires effective negotiation with government and customer agencies, financial officials, and other executives, while championing Modaxo’s business and legal practices.
The success of the General Manager will be measured by metrics such as Net Revenue growth, bookings, BQR, Core ratios, attrition, working capital ratio, IRR for new initiatives, employee attrition, and customer experience (CX).
Leadership
- Develop and communicate the company’s mission, vision, strategic objectives, policies, and operational plans.
- Drive innovation across processes, R&D, initiatives, and M&A input.
- Manage annual, quarterly, and monthly P&L forecasts and results.
- Implement continuous improvements to streamline processes, increase productivity, and enhance value.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues and staff.
- Collaborate with HR on recruiting, development, and retention programs.
- Oversee sales coverage and compensation/commission models.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure long-term growth and sales funnel health.
Program Management
- Ensure governance of projects to adhere to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Follow appropriate revenue recognition processes.
- Escalate problematic projects to upper management when necessary.
Customer Care
- Implement and oversee long-term customer care programs to reduce attrition.
- Execute effective solution adoption strategies for clients.
- Manage customer satisfaction surveys and communication tools.
Research and Development
- Balance investments in R&D and maintenance to maximize growth and customer retention.
- Develop clear product plans that respond to market needs.
The Person

- Understanding of the global passenger transportation industry, especially in the Americas and Europe.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of management and P&L experience.
- GTM-oriented mindset to ensure growth.
- Effective time management skills.
- Willingness to travel within North America and internationally for meetings.
- Located in the US or Canada.
- Fluency in French or Spanish preferred.
