Description

<p>We have an immediate opening for an Interior Designer. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience and experience working on multiple projects at once. This is 100% onsite in office.</p><p><br></p><p>Specific duties include:</p><ul><li>Assist senior-level Designers, in all assigned project-related tasks.</li><li>Lead and manage projects from inception to completion under the guidance of senior-level Designers, including the Principal.</li><li>Prepare and execute all phases of design projects, encompassing budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, documentation, specifications, and construction. This includes selecting and specifying furniture and finishes.</li><li>Create and update interior design packages for construction.</li><li>Develop working drawings, 3D models, and presentations to support the design team.</li><li>Direct and oversee tasks assigned to Junior Designers for project-related activities.</li><li>Coordinate with various departments (e.g., Accounting, FF&E/Purchasing) on project-related matters.</li><li>Arrange and attend meetings with Clients as necessary.</li><li>Assist in or lead client meetings and presentations.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for clients and vendors.</li><li>Mentor Junior staff and support Senior staff in team management to ensure service quality and project progress.</li><li>Manage day-to-day project coordination with consultants, contractors, client representatives, trades, and suppliers.</li><li>Participate in consultant meetings.</li><li>Handle project documentation including meeting minutes, emails, schedules, and design concept boards (physical or electronic).</li><li>Review work for quality control, ensuring accuracy in project details such as drawings, specifications, notes, finishes, and documentation.</li><li>Conduct job site visits and meetings to verify design accuracy on site.</li><li>Attend team meetings to contribute project updates and insights.</li><li>Oversee project installation processes.</li><li>Monitor and rectify deficiencies post-installation in a timely manner, ensuring refinements as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Post secondary education in Interior Design</p><p>Ability to work onsite (not remote)</p><p>Drivers license</p><p>Revit skills</p><p>Minimum 3 years experience</p>
