The Role
We’re looking for a systems-minded, detail-obsessed Operations Manager who understands e-commerce, paid media, and how to keep a creative team on track.
You’ll own people, process, and platform execution across the agency, including:
- Agency Ops: Resource planning, KPI dashboards, team capacity, and weekly reporting.
- Client Ops: Onboarding, scope tracking, budget adherence, and meeting cadence.
- Platform Ops: Shopify audits, app integrations, and GA4/event tracking governance.
- Performance Ops: Translating media plans into ClickUp workflows, QAing ad setups (Meta & Google), and keeping project timelines tight.
- Systems & Automation: Building SOPs and automations across ClickUp, Make, Zapier, and Google Workspace.
What You’ll Accomplish (First 90 Days)
- Implement a ClickUp project tracking system with <3% overdue tasks.
- Reduce founder input time by 50% through delegation and SOPs.
- Launch an internal dashboard tracking budget pacing, ROAS, and resource usage.
- Standardize onboarding so clients are launched within 7 days—error-free.
What We’re Looking For
- You’re fluent in ClickUp and have built workflows, dashboards, automations, and documentation at scale.
- You speak Shopify fluently—theme changes, app conflicts, and GTM tagging make sense to you.
- You understand paid media and can spot anomalies in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.
- You thrive in structured chaos and love turning ambiguity into clear processes.
- You care about people and outcomes—you make systems work for teams, not instead of them.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in operations or project management in a DTC, ecommerce, or performance marketing environment.
- Direct experience managing $1M+ in ad budgets and 7-figure Shopify stores.
- Expert-level ClickUp experience (custom fields, dashboards, automations).
- Familiar with Meta Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager, and GA4.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; bonus points for SQL or Looker Studio experience.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to commute to Ottawa weekly.
