Description

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and lead full Shopify Plus builds, rebuilds, and advanced integrations
  • Own code quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Mentor mid and junior developers and lead technical direction
  • Work directly with clients and PMs to shape solutions that balance creativity and scalability
  • Guide implementation of best practices (component libraries, testing, deploy flows)
  • Contribute to internal tools and documentation to support long-term agency growth

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of front-end development experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify/Shopify Plus work
  • Deep knowledge of Liquid, Shopify APIs, and store architecture
  • Experience building complex custom themes, sections, and apps
  • Ability to scope projects and support client conversations with confidence
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, performance tooling, and SEO-friendly code

Bonus Points

  • Experience with headless builds (Hydrogen, Remix, Next.js)
  • DevOps experience (Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, AWS)
  • Prior experience leading a dev team or managing client stakeholders
