Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional information architecture expertise, undertake comprehensive architecture needs assessments, and conduct complex reviews to support systems/infrastructure needs for clients (e.g., I&IT clusters, their clients, and enterprise I&IT organizations).
  • Participate in enterprise-wide and cross-jurisdictional architecture projects involving information components.
  • Design application landscapes and integration strategies to ensure seamless data and process flow between systems from local and global perspectives.

General Skills:

  • Define, identify, and describe information architectural requirements with clients, obtaining I&IT management approval.
  • Develop and secure approval for detailed plans and resource estimates for large-scale, complex information architecture projects.
  • Perform complex information architecture reviews, assessments, and support projects aligned with enterprise priorities and client needs.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management and system interoperability.
  • Ensure integration with corporate and client policies and standards, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and directions within the technological and provincial health domains.
  • Possess expertise in application and integration architecture standards and technologies, such as FHIR, with sensitivity to health information ownership.
  • Support business architecture initiatives by aligning information and application design with business goals.
  • Provide architecture interpretation advice to project teams, management, clients, and external contractors.
  • Lead or participate in sensitive architecture investigations.
  • Be familiar with composable architecture, microservices, APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
  • Develop architecture deliverables like frameworks, models, patterns, and governance documents.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Be a team player with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in developing business architecture deliverables based on TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
  • Understand core business domains and process modeling.
  • Have expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid solutions.
  • Understand information management principles, policies, and practices.
