We are looking for a seasoned<br/><br/>Zuora Subscription Data Migration Specialist<br/><br/>who will act as the<br/><br/>go-to resource for end-to-end data migration activities<br/><br/>in the context of transitioning Lead-to-Cash operations from<br/><br/>Veritas to Cohesity systems . The ideal candidate will have strong experience with<br/><br/>Zuora Billing and Subscription Management , excellent<br/><br/>SQL/data analysis skills , and a good understanding of<br/><br/>revenue operations and subscription lifecycle processes .
In addition to data extraction, reconciliation, and advisory responsibilities, the candidate should be comfortable<br/><br/>collaborating across business, IT, and QA teams<br/><br/>and provide support for<br/><br/>business-as-usual (BAU)<br/><br/>tasks post-migration such as bug fixes and minor system enhancements.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Data Migration & Analysis
Lead and execute<br/><br/>data extraction and transformation<br/><br/>activities from legacy systems (Veritas) and prepare data for ingestion into Cohesity systems using<br/><br/>Zuora<br/><br/>as the subscription platform.
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries<br/><br/>for extracting, transforming, and validating large sets of financial, billing, and subscription data.
Conduct thorough<br/><br/>data analysis to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and mapping gaps<br/><br/>across billing, subscription, invoicing, and customer account datasets.
Support<br/><br/>data cleansing, transformation logic, and loading mechanisms , ensuring data integrity throughout the migration pipeline.
Perform<br/><br/>data reconciliation and validation post-migration , collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure migrated data aligns with business rules and functional expectations.
BAU Support & Enhancements
Act as an<br/><br/>advisory resource<br/><br/>for business stakeholders on Zuora-related workflows, especially in<br/><br/>Subscription, Product Catalog, Invoicing, and Billing<br/><br/>modules.
Support<br/><br/>bug fixes, minor enhancements, and configuration updates<br/><br/>as needed in response to BAU issues or process refinements.
Provide input to IT teams and data architects on<br/><br/>Zuora best practices , schema relationships, and custom data models.
Collaborate with QA teams for testing strategy and support UAT cycles with relevant test data sets and validation queries.<br/><br/>Must-Have Skills:
5–8+ years of experience<br/><br/>in data migration, with at least<br/><br/>3+ years working on Zuora (Billing & Revenue modules) .
Proven experience in<br/><br/>Lead-to-Cash workflows , especially Subscription Management, Product Catalog, Rate Plans, Invoicing, Payments, and Amendments.
Strong proficiency in<br/><br/>SQL<br/><br/>and relational data modeling for extraction, transformation, and validation of subscription and financial data.
Solid understanding of<br/><br/>Zuora object model , key tables (e.g., Subscription, RatePlan, RatePlanCharge, Invoice, Payment), and custom field handling.
Demonstrated ability in<br/><br/>data reconciliation and root cause analysis<br/><br/>with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Experience with<br/><br/>data migration lifecycle<br/><br/>including requirement gathering, mapping, transformation logic, testing, and post-go-live support.
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and provide advisory inputs.
Familiarity with<br/><br/>error-handling mechanisms<br/><br/>during data loads and rollback strategies.
Hands-on experience with<br/><br/>data profiling tools , Excel, and structured reports for reconciliation.<br/><br/>Good-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of<br/><br/>ETL tools<br/><br/>(e.g., Informatica, Talend, Boomi) and<br/><br/>integration frameworks<br/><br/>used with Zuora.
Familiarity with<br/><br/>Zuora REST APIs and Data Query (ZOQL)<br/><br/>for advanced reporting or automation.
Experience in working with<br/><br/>Salesforce-Zuora integration<br/><br/>or middleware solutions (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato).
Understanding of<br/><br/>GAAP revenue recognition principles<br/><br/>and<br/><br/>Zuora Revenue<br/><br/>module (formerly RevPro).
Familiarity with<br/><br/>NetSuite, Salesforce CPQ, or any other ERP/CRM system<br/><br/>connected with the Zuora ecosystem.
Experience in<br/><br/>Agile/Scrum project environments<br/><br/>with JIRA/Confluence documentation.
Exposure to<br/><br/>data governance, audit tracking, and compliance frameworks<br/><br/>like SOX, GDPR as applied to subscription data.
Knowledge of<br/><br/>data visualization<br/><br/>tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to build reconciliation dashboards or audit summaries.
