<p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p>Reporting to the Project Manager, we are recruiting full-time 309A Medium/High Voltage Electricians who will have extensive experience in Substation Maintenance, Installation, Construction and Termination of Medium/High Voltage systems, along with an excellent understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC). As a Medium/High Voltage electrician, you will be instrumental in constructing, terminating and ensuring the safety and dependability of critical Medium/High Voltage electrical infrastructure.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair Medium/High Voltage electrical systems and equipment in compliance with relevant codes and standards.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.</li><li>Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform electrical work.</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.</li><li>Renovate existing electrical systems to improve functionality and safety.</li><li>Collaborate with other tradespeople as a maintenance person to ensure comprehensive project completion.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>Ontario or Inter-Provincial (309A/Red Seal) Electrician Certificate of Qualification required.</li><li>Minimum 5-10 years of experience working on Medium/High Voltage electrical projects in the industrial and/or commercial sectors within Ontario, Canada.</li><li>Project Management Skills: ability and desire to take initiative and responsibility for improvement projects and see them through to completion.</li><li>Experience with Maintenance Management Systems is an asset.</li><li>Working knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out, Electrical Safety and Arc Flash protection is required.</li><li>Must be able to perform rotating shift work if required. Ability to be on call if required.</li><li>Must be able to travel for work throughout the province of Ontario.</li><li>Strong computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office tools required.</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Valid AZ/DZ drivers license or willingness to obtain one if needed.</li><li>2-3 professional references related to electrical projects in Ontario in the last 5 years.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Join us in providing top-notch electrical services while ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations.
