This is a founder-level architecture and systems leadership role. As Master Architect, you don’t just shape the infrastructure—you encode the logic, resilience, and elegance of the entire technology ecosystem supporting Anime Universe.

Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week. If that’s not feasible, we completely understand—but this isn’t the right role for now.

This is an equity partner role. That means:

• No upfront cash compensation
• Equity (shares) at founding partner level (standard vesting)
• Future token-based rewards (pending legal clearance)
• Salary activates with revenue-based milestones

Overview

We’re recruiting a Master Architect to serve as the foundational systems designer and technical synthesizer for Anime Universe’s core platform. You’ll own the design and direction of a multi-layered technology stack—spanning cloud-native systems, real-time infrastructure, data orchestration, and monetization architecture.

This is a VP-level role for someone who has architected large-scale, future-resilient systems across industries. You are viewed by peers as a Master Architect—the person others call when structure, strategy, and scale must align.

You don’t just connect pieces—you define the logic that governs how everything functions and evolves.

This is your seat at the high table of technology creation, working side-by-side with the CTO to transform ideas into scalable, elegant systems.

What You’ll Own

System Architecture Leadership

• Design first-principles architecture across platform services and user-facing applications
• Unify logic and structure across infrastructure, tooling, and deployment environments

Blueprint Development

• Author executable architecture documents for internal platforms, developer tools, and content delivery systems
• Ensure systems are scalable, modular, and evolution-ready

Integrity & Modularity

• Architect modular stack layers that balance adaptability with performance
• Maintain cross-domain system cohesion and interface consistency

Standards & Validation

• Validate frameworks against technical excellence standards and internal benchmarks
• Continuously refine to meet quality, performance, and maintainability thresholds

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with engineers, product teams, data leads, and content tech stakeholders
• Align diverse teams under one architectural vision while enabling domain autonomy

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Leadership

• 15+ years of experience in technical architecture across cloud, platform, infrastructure, or enterprise systems
• You’ve held senior technical leadership roles (e.g. Principal Architect, VP of Engineering, or Chief Architect) and built high-impact systems at scale

Technical Fluency

• Deep experience in cloud services, backend architecture, API design, and orchestration pipelines
• You navigate across infrastructure, protocols, and platform systems with clarity

System Thinking

• High-agency thinker who anticipates long-term complexity and system evolution
• You design for sustainability, performance, and composability

Next-Gen Paradigm Fluency

• Familiarity with emerging models (e.g., tokenized logic, distributed computation, adaptive runtimes)
• You understand how infrastructure can power new forms of digital value, interaction, and creativity

Vision Alignment

• You architect with purpose—balancing what’s needed now with what’s inevitable next
• You design with the confidence of an engineer and the foresight of a strategist
