Description du poste

Our team develops software solutions for major financial markets across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. These solutions must be competitive to expand our market share, launch new products, and seize opportunities. We foster an agile culture at an unprecedented scale.

Responsibilities

  1. Study, analyze, and estimate user stories within the trading system domain for equity financing;
  2. Guide technical and non-technical solutions, evaluate tactical or strategic approaches, and assess solution timelines;
  3. Coordinate with business analysts and end-users to understand development needs and obtain validations;
  4. Develop code artifacts, deployment plans, and technical upgrades in compliance with development standards;
  5. Coordinate with users to produce comprehensive test plans and develop validation criteria; actively analyze and document test results, revising with end-users;
  6. Participate in large-scale software deployments, including quarterly upgrades and new feature rollouts;
  7. Develop and implement reports and data extracts for internal users upon request.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience with JAVA, Angular, IBM/RabbitMQ, Springboot, GitHub, Jenkins, SQL, SQL Server, Docker, Kubernetes, REST API;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent;
  • Over 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Ability to work with complex information systems;
  • Collaborative skills and team spirit;
  • Organizational, methodical, and analytical skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience in corporate and investment banking or finance is a plus;
  • Knowledge of financial markets (equities, interest rates, derivatives, etc.) is an asset;
  • Architecture skills are a plus;
  • Knowledge of Azure is advantageous;
  • Excellent communication in French and English; English is required for client interactions outside Quebec.
