On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an innovative, results-driven Packaging Project Manager to join their successful team!
Develop and maintain a management plan for projects and ensure budgets and timelines are met.
• Collaborate and communicate with all relevant departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, etc.) to ensure projects are completed within scope.
• Guide a team of Packaging Engineers.
• Act as a technical support to the brand of packers in Canada, the USA, and Mexico in the area of packaging design.
• Work closely with Sales to understand requests and bring ideation to life.
• strengthen partner network across all facilities.
• Oversee packaging testing, working with Quality, Production, and Engineering to facilitate.
• Oversee quality concerns and collect claims from Suppliers where appropriate.
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience required; food manufacturing industry preferred.
• Holds a valid passport and is able to travel throughout Canada, US and Mexico
• Exceptional project management skills; Influential leader able to motivate with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style; hands-on leader with experience managing a diverse team across multiple facilities.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities that allow projects and goals to be completed on time; Proficiency in MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP software required; ACCU-STAFF has an accommodation process in place and provides accommodations for employees with disabilities.
