About the Professional Development Facilitator (Freelance)
Learning Bird is seeking a subject matter expert who has developed engaging professional development workshops for administrators on culturally responsive leadership. The freelancer must hold the rights to their material and be ready to deliver their workshops.
What you will do:
- Develop and deliver day-and-a-half PD workshops, in-person, for administrators on culturally responsive leadership.
- Travel to Northern Ontario, associated travel costs to be covered by Learning Bird.
- Learning Bird would support you in developing these sessions, and a team member would co-facilitate the workshops with you.
You must have:
- Experience working with Indigenous communities
- Experience working with educators and administrators
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education and/or Educational Leadership or equivalent training/teaching experience
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and training
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills
