About You
We’re looking for a passionate and dependable French tutor or teacher who:
- Has a warm, child-centered personality
- Is approachable, coachable, and open to learning
- Possesses excellent oral and written French skills
- Has a background in education, special education, or educational psychology
- Can teach both 1-on-1 and in small group settings
- Demonstrates strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
- Maintains classroom discipline while delivering effective and engaging lessons
About the Role
- Plan and deliver engaging French language instruction aligned with curriculum standards
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual student needs
- Participate in occasional team meetings or trainings
- Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with families
- Provide regular progress updates and communication as needed
Requirements
- Educational background in a relevant field (teaching, special education, child development, etc.)
- Prior experience teaching/tutoring children or adolescents
- Ability to manage and motivate students of varying ability levels
- Clear criminal background check
- Professional references from previous roles
Compensation
- $33/hour for 1-on-1 instruction
- $40/hour for group classes
