Teaching Opportunity in South Korea
Languages Canada is excited to share a new opportunity for Canadian ESL teachers to live and work in South Korea through one of our school partners, which offers a Canadian-style curriculum and a supportive, international work environment.

Position Overview:
- Contract Length: 1 year
- Student Levels: Early Childhood & Elementary
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred
- Certification: TESOL/TEFL certification (minimum 100 hours)
- Eligible for E2 Visa:
- Be a native speaker or have studied from the junior high level (7th grade) and resided for at least 10 years or more in the country where English is the primary language.
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school. A degree from a French-speaking university is not a sufficient qualification to teach English. A temporary degree or graduation letter from University is not acceptable.

- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
Classroom Management:
- Maintain a well-organized and safe learning space
- Enforce school-wide behavioral policies
- Promote a collaborative and engaging learning atmosphere
Professional Growth:
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies
- Stay current on best practices in education
Cultural Adaptation:
- Demonstrate sensitivity to Korean culture and customs
