Role Description:
• We are looking for a Project Manager to support a cross-functional initiative focused on digital accessibility remediation.
• This role will serve as the primary liaison between the third-party agency conducting the audit, the internal development and QA teams, and senior stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating technical web projects within a CMS environment.
• Key Responsibilities: Serve as the central point of contact across all parties involved in the accessibility remediation initiative.
• Facilitate project planning, prioritization, issue resolution and team coordination.
• Track remediation progress against timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
• Facilitate regular status meetings and working sessions between: The external audit agency Internal developer(s) making CMS updates Internal QA resources validating fixes
• Escalate blockers, risks, or scope changes to leadership as needed.
• Ensure deliverables are aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and project goals.
• Prepare and deliver weekly or biweekly updates to senior management on project status, risks, and next steps.
• Document decisions, process updates, and action items.
Required Skill Set:
• Good years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in digital/web projects
• Experience working with or managing third-party vendors
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and digital compliance projects
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience tracking project tasks using tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project
• Experience in enterprise CMS environments (e.g., TeamSite, AEM, Sitecore) Understanding of front-end development processes and QA workflows
• Previous experience with accessibility remediation or audit-driven projects
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
