Description
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a focus on the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional sectors? Hays has partnered with a General Contractor company specializing in ICI construction projects based in Vaughan, ON.
Job Duties:
- Develop and execute the project plan and schedule and ensure compliance with budget.
- Lead project meetings and safety meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing progression.
- Ensure project materials and quality construction meet the project Quality Standards and Design requirements.
- Obtain necessary information from engineers, designers, inspectors, municipal/provincial authorities and owners.
- Proactively identify and address challenges, working closely with the senior management team
- Manage project finances and timelines in conjunction with the Superintendent.
- Prepare a construction schedule, monitor and forecast the schedule and costs throughout the project.
- Meet with stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Monitor project risks and promptly escalate issues to the senior management for quick execution
Qualifications:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Must have at least 5–8 years of experience in project management within the ICI construction industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with stakeholders
- Proficient in software, including Primavera P6, Procore, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
