Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our client’s operations in Wynyard, SK . In this role you will be responsible for performing electrical corrective and preventative maintenance of all facility, production machinery and refrigeration equipment. - Pay Rate: $42.05/hr + $0.60/hr shift differential +$0.60/hr for afternoon shift.
- Location: Wynyard, Saskatchewan
- Shift: Rotational Shifts Monday – Friday. Days 5:30 am – 1:30 pm and Afternoons 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable to quickly trouble shoot, diagnose and repair problems as they occur on any plant production equipment or any of the facilities and grounds equipment.
- Systematically diagnoses faults in electrical and electronic systems and equipment and repairs or replaces electrical and electronic components as required.
- Plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications and installs all electrical and electronic devices according to the electrical code.
- Work in and promote a safe working environment and work in strict compliance with all Health and Safety, HACCP, company policies, process SOPs, wear required PPE and follow all relevant GMPs.
- Promote good communication and collaboration, both within the maintenance team and other stakeholders.
- Responsible to follow all preventive maintenance processes and procedures and schedules.
- Accurate reporting of all outstanding and completed work, including parts and tools used.
- Work on other projects and duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Provincial Electrician Journeyman Certificate and Red Seal status. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a licensed Electrician.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Electrical troubleshooting knowledge, including working knowledge of PLC’s, equipment automation and instrumentation.
- Aptitude for quick troubleshooting and diagnosis of problems with machinery, systems and facilities.
- Industrial plant maintenance experience an asset.
- Must have good communication skills, initiative and excellent attendance.
- Must be willing to work assigned shift rotations including weekend OT as required.
- Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Some heavy lifting may be required. Must be able to work on lifts and ladders.
- Other duties assigned by the Maintenance supervisor and/or designate.
