Our client is an insurance company. They are looking for an IT Audit Manager who will be responsible for providing independent, objective risk assessment and evaluation around the effectiveness of risk management practices, internal controls and IT governance processes including, IT Governance & Oversight, Cyber Security & Data Protection, Operations and Third-Party Risk Management.

About the Opportunity

  • Communicating effectively at all levels across the business.

  • Applying auditing principles and techniques, including planning, organizing and the ability to deal with complex issues. 

  • Identification of key risks across the IT audit universe to assist in the development of the audit plan. 

  • Managing a small team of auditors in the planning, execution and reporting of operational risk audits. 

About You

  • CPA 

  • A minimum of 7 years previous experience in IT auditing in large or complex organizations, with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role. 

  • Relevant post-secondary education and completion of CISA is required. 

  • Strong knowledge of IT control framework(s) (COBIT, NIST etc.) is required. 

  • Experience with or good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud networking, cyber security risk data lakes and third-party management risks. 

  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act. 

Salary Range

$120,000 – $130,000/year
