Responsibilities:

  • Versatile trades professional with hands-on experience in rigging, mechanical maintenance, and industrial carpentry.
  • Skilled in safe load handling, rigging inspection, and directing hoisting operations.
  • Experienced in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial and marine mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints for accurate assembly and construction.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, and precision tools.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and complex repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Capable of erecting, dismantling, and certifying structural components across industrial and commercial sites.
  • Familiar with framing, installing doors/windows, and finishing work using wood, steel, and composites.
  • Committed to safety; works comfortably at heights, in confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
  • Physically fit; able to lift and move equipment/materials up to 50 lbs. (or more as needed).
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to support extended hours or overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Certified Journeyperson Millwright with training in Confined Space, Fall Protection, WHMIS, and HSE.
  • 3+ years’ experience in industrial carpentry, rigging, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Skilled in blueprint reading, equipment assembly, and safe rigging practices.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and varied weather conditions.
  • Physically fit to lift 50+ lbs., adaptable to overtime, and shift work.
  • Owns tools/tool pouch; team-oriented, safety-focused, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Meets Canadian Security Clearance requirements
