Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator (Counterbalance) / Warehouse Associate to join our client’s logistics team in Calgary, AB. This role is responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts, managing inventory, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining high warehouse standards. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to workplace safety.
- Pay Rate: $ 19.00/hour

- Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (Toyota Electric Counterbalance) and other lifting devices.
- Load and unload products securely from pallets, skids, and platforms in line with procedures.
- Follow product inventory procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Weigh and document materials, ensuring accurate labeling and tagging.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies and compliance regulations at all times.
- Perform quality, condition, and quantity checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Report product damages and discrepancies to the Logistics Manager.
- Assist with weekly cycle counts as required by ALGC personnel.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or unusual product movements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory documentation.
- Ensure warehouse security protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain professional relationships with carriers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Report and track required repairs or maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Uphold facility housekeeping standards.
- Follow all applicable federal safety standards and local regulations.
- Provide backup support for receiving functions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating counterbalance forklifts (Toyota preferred).
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience, including inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance standards.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
