As part of its strategic growth and dedication to client service, the firm is seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join the team. This role will enhance the efficiency, quality, and scope of services offered to clients by bringing legal expertise in-house.
Role Summary
As the Corporate Lawyer, you will support the firm’s clients across various corporate legal needs, including corporate restructuring, tax planning, and shareholder agreements. This is a unique opportunity to develop an internal legal function that aligns with the firm’s mission of delivering tailored, high-quality solutions to clients.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, as well as identifying and mitigating legal risks. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while providing seamless legal support to the firm’s tax team and other partners.
Additionally, you will contribute to corporate governance by advising on board meetings, shareholder relations, and compliance with corporate law. Developing and implementing company policies to promote legal compliance and best practices will also be a significant focus.

Qualifications
You are a bilingual (English & French) legal professional with 5–8 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with expertise in corporate restructuring, tax planning, shareholder agreements and other related services. You understand the legal requirements in Ontario and Quebec and are eager to leverage your knowledge to serve clients effectively.
You excel in high-performance environments, are detail-oriented, and have a servant leadership style. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams will be key to your success. You are driven to make a tangible impact and are excited about the opportunity to establish and grow an internal legal department.
