Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Banking & Cash Trade
Location: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in banking and cash trade systems to join our client’s dynamic team. This hybrid role offers a combination of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in analyzing and optimizing financial systems, specifically in banking operations and trade finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
- Lead requirements sessions with stakeholders to define business needs, particularly in banking and cash trade domains.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
- System Design & Optimization:
- Design and optimize business processes related to cash management, trade finance, payments, and foreign exchange (FX).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure that systems meet business requirements and are efficiently integrated.
- Cash Trade & Banking Expertise:
- Provide subject-matter expertise in cash management, trade finance, letters of credit, trade receivables, and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations (e.g., KYC, AML) and identify areas to streamline operations.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Regularly interact with internal stakeholders, client teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Clearly communicate technical requirements to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with testing teams to develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure successful implementation and deployment of systems and solutions.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines to meet deadlines.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 9+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the banking and trade finance domains.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects related to cash management, payment systems, and trade finance.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial systems, banking operations, and cash trade systems.
- Experience with financial software tools (e.g., SWIFT, payment gateways, treasury systems) and proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Business Acumen:
- Strong understanding of banking processes and regulatory frameworks (e.g., KYC, AML, trade finance regulations).
- Ability to assess financial workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose enhancements.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications (optional but preferred):
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification.
Additional Information:
- Location: Hybrid model (4 days in-office and 1 days remote).
- Compensation:
Hourly rate: Between $75 and $85 per hour based on experience or qualifications.
Workday: 7.5 hours per day.
