Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • All full cycle Accounts Payable duties
  • Complete monthly general ledger accounts and sub-ledger accounts reconciliation.
  • Complete sub-ledger accounts ageing analysis and identify clean-up activities required.
  • Complete regular vendor balance reconciliation (statement vs invoices in LN and EAM).
  • Validate the Account Payable accruals that AP Clerks prepare and assess completeness and accuracy of Account Payable accruals.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliation.

    Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or accounts payable.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Understanding current accounting best practices and standards.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet competing deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with bot automation software for accounts payable processing considered an asset.
