Responsibilities:
- Manage financial aspects of high-rise development projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Prepare project financial statements, forecasts, and variance analyses to support project managers and leadership.
- Monitor project costs and provide updates to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records.
- Implement and maintain project accounting processes and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with audits and prepare documentation as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Accounting Expertise: Experience in project accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for high-rise or large-scale development projects.
- Leadership: Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide financial insight to project teams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in project accounting or construction finance roles, preferably in high-rise development.
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certification: CPA designation required.
