We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation across network and security, cloud computing, and software development, and will be adept at aligning IT strategies with business objectives.
This role requires excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, and a deep understanding of Canadian data protection regulations.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
- Provide architectural oversight across network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and software development initiatives.
- Utilize frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman to guide architectural decisions and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian data privacy and protection standards.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Conduct architectural assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support federal government projects with a strong understanding of public sector requirements.
- Leverage tools like Visio or similar diagramming software to create clear and comprehensive architecture diagrams.

To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architecture role.
- Proven experience with network and security, cloud computing, and software development.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Flexibility and ability to travel
