IBM ACE Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer to join our team and help design, develop, and support enterprise-grade integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integration patterns, middleware, APIs, and message flows, and a passion for building scalable and secure solutions that power business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise).
• Build and maintain message flows, ESQL code, message sets, and mappings.
• Develop and expose REST APIs, SOAP web services, and message-based integrations.
• Configure and manage integration nodes, execution groups, and deployed artifacts.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues; drive root cause analysis.
• Integrate IBM ACE with databases, middleware, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Ensure all solutions comply with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployments.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IBM ACE Developer (IBM Integration Bus / Message Broker experience is also acceptable).
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Message Flows, ESQL, Java, and Mapping nodes
• MQ, JMS, Kafka, REST, and SOAP
• XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD, WSDL, and DFDL
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, SOA, and API-based architectures.
• Proficiency in deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting IBM ACE solutions.
• Good working knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or MongoDB).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and agile teams.
