We’re Hiring: IT Vendor Manager | Strategic Procurement Role

We’re looking for a Vendor Manager to support a high-impact M&A initiative. This role focuses on consolidating vendor contracts for a newly acquired company, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving strategic sourcing excellence.

Project Scope:

  • Review and compare vendor contracts from the acquired company with existing agreements
  • Identify synergies and savings opportunities
  • Lead contract amendments, renewals, and closures

Must-Have Skills & Experience (minimum 3):

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience in vendor negotiations
  • Expertise in contractual terms and pricing negotiations

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Understanding of AI tools and automation
  • Strong analytical skills for data comparison
  • Logistical thinking and process optimization
  • Bilingual capabilities (an asset, not a requirement)

Role Overview: As a Vendor Manager, you’ll lead strategic procurement efforts across shared services categories including facilities, field services, mobile technologies, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost reduction
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance
  • Negotiate and administer commercial contracts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Apply market intelligence to procurement decisions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in vendor/supplier relationship management
  • Strategic sourcing and supply chain experience
  • Strong contract negotiation skills with large organizations
  • Experience leading competitive bidding (RFX)
  • Industry experience in complex service environments (preferred)

Skills & Tools:

  • Negotiation, strategic sourcing, financial acumen
  • Familiarity with automation, AI, and e-procurement tools
  • Google Suite proficiency

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred)
  • Supply chain certifications (SCMP, CPP, ISM) are a plus
