Project Manager – Tilt-Up Warehouse Construction (Travel Across Canada)
Location: Various project sites across Canada
Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 base salary + 15% travel uplift + $165/day living allowance + car rental covered
We are hiring on behalf of a well-established national general contractor specializing in large-scale tilt-up warehouse and industrial projects valued between $30M and $60M. Due to a strong pipeline of work across multiple provinces, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major design-build and construction management projects throughout Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of project delivery, from preconstruction through to closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage schedules, budgets, subcontracts, and client relationships across multiple active sites.
- Coordinate with site superintendents, estimators, and design teams to resolve issues and maintain construction progress.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to field and office staff, fostering a collaborative and safety-first culture.
- Oversee procurement, cost control, and change management processes.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control, schedule adherence, and compliance with project specifications.
- Report project progress and financial performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with a general contractor.
- Proven experience managing large tilt-up, industrial, or warehouse projects ($20M+).
- Strong understanding of concrete construction, scheduling, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Canada (10 days on / 4 days off rotation).
- PMP designation or engineering/construction management degree is an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $130,000–$160,000, commensurate with experience.
- 15% travel uplift on base salary.
