Our client is hiring a Backend Software Developer to help build scalable, cloud-based solutions for leading North American clients. This is a fully remote role open to candidates across Canada.

🔧 What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Ensure code quality, design consistency, and technical governance
- Contribute to architecture, planning, coding, and continuous improvement
- Support releases and live applications
- Engage in DevOps and deployment processes
- Communicate clearly with global teams and stakeholders
✅ What You Bring
- 6+ years of Java development experience
- 4+ years working with AWS cloud services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, serverless)
- Strong object-oriented design and database modeling (SQL & NoSQL)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Client-facing experience
🌟 Bonus Skills
- Experience with TypeScript or Python
- Familiarity with DDD and TDD
