Description
The Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across all field operations.
This role acts as the primary authority on all health and safety matters, supporting field crews, installers, and subtrades to maintain compliance with legislation and company policies. The Health and Safety Officer drives continuous improvement in safety culture, risk/hazard prevention, and overall operational safety performance.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction or field service industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Construction Regulations, and WSIB Act.
- Proven experience with COR program management and audits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong ability to teach and present safety material to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic documentation management.
- Valid G-Class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- JHSC Certification, First Aid, and CPR are strong assets.
