Position: Engineering Manager – Software Delivery & InnovationLocation: Toronto, ON (2 days onsite/ week, flexibility required)We’re working with a well-established fintech leader that plays a central role in Canada’s investment infrastructure. They’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack agile team and drive innovation through emerging technologies and proof-of-concepts.This is a people-first leadership role with a strong technical focus — ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves solving real business problems with technology.What You’ll Do:- Manage and mentor a cross-functional agile team (Java Developers, QEs, Sr. Data Engineers, and co-ops)- Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact, mission-critical applications- Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and business teams to drive outcomes- Champion innovation — lead an internal innovation lab focused on emerging tech, prototyping, and internal enablement- Prioritize and plan delivery milestones, remove blockers, and ensure accountability- Bring strategic thinking and adaptability to a changing technology landscapeWhat You Bring:- 3-5+ years in engineering leadership roles, including direct people management- Strong background in Java-based development and modern software delivery- Familiarity with Azure Cloud (or other major cloud platforms)- Exposure to architecture, QA leadership, and enterprise-scale software delivery- Experience working on mission-critical systems (financial services a plus)- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a growing organizationInterested?Please reach out to Zhanna Dalbenka at zhanna.dalbenka@quantum-qtr.com for more details.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN $1,000!
