Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) – Entry-Level IT Sales

Location: Burnaby, BC – REMOTE (Alberta/British Columbia Location OK)

Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Base Salary $50,000 CAD + Uncapped Commissions

OTE: 100-130K Target

About the Role

A fast-growing IT Services firm is looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative to join their team in Burnaby. This is a perfect opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to break into the tech industry and build a long-term future in sales.

The role is all about high-volume outreach—you’ll be expected to make 75+ outbound calls daily to small business prospects like medical clinics, retail chains, and professional service firms. You don’t need technical knowledge to start—we’ll teach you everything you need to know about Microsoft 365, cloud services, networking, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Make 50-75+ outbound calls per day to connect with small business owners and decision-makers
  • Book qualified sales appointments for senior sales staff
  • Use a CRM to log activities, track leads, and follow up consistently
  • Research local businesses and personalize your outreach based on industry needs
  • Learn about the core services offered (e.g., Microsoft 365, cloud backups, VoIP, network security)
  • Participate in ongoing training and career development

Who You Are

  • You’ve got a strong work ethic and can power through repetitive tasks with a positive attitude
  • Have a good understanding of technology, ideally you would have a tech degree or similar.
  • You’re naturally curious and enjoy learning new things—especially tech
  • Comfortable on the phone and not afraid of rejection
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and coachable
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or phone-based roles is a plus (not required)
  • Bonus: Familiarity with small business environments or industries like medical, retail, or legal
