Clinical Business Analyst

Location: Remote (Canada)

Mandatory Requirements

  • Education:
  • University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Oncology.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst responsible for Oncology-related requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design, and the development of business analysis documentation within the past 10 years.
  • Experience working with Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) and healthcare operations, specifically related to Oncology.
  • Demonstrated involvement in Health Information Systems/CIS implementation projects, with direct experience in healthcare operations and large-scale system deployments relevant to Oncology.

  • Specialized Experience:
  • Experience as a Clinical Business Analyst supporting Oncology workflows in one or more of the following areas:
  • Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE)
  • Order sets
  • Clinical documentation
  • Ancillary services (Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Laboratory)
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.
  • Facilitation Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience leading workshops with healthcare providers to identify and document business requirements, system requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Collaboration & Work Style:
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of self-direction.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience using Atlassian JIRA in a project or operational environment.
  • Sector Knowledge:
  • Previous experience within public or government health organizations, with a solid understanding of healthcare operations, policies, and practices.
