We are expanding our Business Central practice and looking for a Senior Functional Consultant to lead implementations, guide clients through end-to-end ERP transformation, and help us deliver high-quality BC solutions across North America.

This is a full-time D365 Business Central Senior Functional Consultant role. As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will work directly with clients to map business processes, design BC solutions, configure modules, run workshops, and support go-live activities. You will collaborate closely with technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops and document detailed business requirements.
  • Map processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, Manufacturing, Jobs, or Service.
  • Produce solution design documents, fit-gap analyses, and process flows.
  • Configure Business Central modules for end-to-end implementations.
  • Build and test the setup for the various BC modules
  • Support data migration (templates, validation, testing).
  • Conduct UAT sessions, training workshops, and functional testing.
  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for client leads.
  • Provide best-practice guidance and challenge assumptions when needed.
  • Prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
  • Support go-live, cut-over planning, and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Work closely with developers to translate business requirements into technical specs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Central or NAV functional consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of core BC modules: Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Jobs, Fixed Assets, and/or Manufacturing.
  • Proven end-to-end implementation experience
  • Ability to gather requirements and design scalable ERP solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and cross-module integrations.
  • Experience with configuration packages, workflows, dimensions, permissions, and rapid-start templates.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Strong accounting understanding and background
