Overview

Our client is undertaking a large-scale Maintenance Readiness initiative and is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Specialist with a strong background in SAP Master Data Hierarchy and a foundational understanding of asset and maintenance operations. This role will be a key contributor in supporting maintenance readiness, data structure optimization, and preparation for Stage 2 execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and maintain SAP master data structures and hierarchies related to maintenance and asset management.
  • Support maintenance readiness planning and execution activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to align master data configuration with business requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency across systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP master data issues.
  • Support continuous improvement and optimization initiatives within maintenance and asset data management.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with SAP Master Data Hierarchy (e.g., asset structure, functional location, equipment hierarchy, bill of materials, work order data).
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting asset-intensive industries (mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
